The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to ending this disease. Because like flowers, our participants don't stop when something's in their way. They keep raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
About Walk to End Alzheimer's
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
Walk to End Alzheimer's is happening — and you can join us at your local event or Walk From Home in your neighborhood. No matter where you participate, know that your health and safety are our top priorities. All local events will implement safety protocols including physical distancing, contactless registration, hand sanitizing stations and more. Per CDC guidelines around crowded outdoor settings, we ask that all Walk attendees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or wear a mask when in an overcrowded area. Masks will be available on-site.
We will continue to closely monitor CDC, state and local guidelines to ensure Walk events adhere to recommendations and are safe for attendees. If you prefer to Walk From Home, you can still engage in many Walk-day experiences through the mobile app.
While there is no fee to register for Walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
How to Participate in 3 Easy Steps:
Register for your local Walk.
Find a Walk near you and sign up as a Team Captain, team member or individual.
Start fundraising and spread the word.
We’ll provide tips and coaching every step of the way, including easy ways to raise funds online.

Horizon Home Health & Hospice Celebrates Home Care and Hospice Month in November With You! The Care Giver J
Valley Wide Phoenix , AZ During THE
WHOLE MONTH OF November the home care and hospice community honors the millions
of nurses, home care aides, therapists, and social workers who make a remarkable difference for the patients and families they serve. These heroic caregivers play a central role in our health
care system
and in homes across the
nation. To recognize their efforts, we call upon all Americans to
commemorate the power of caring, both at the home and in their local communities and join with Horizon Home Health & Hospice
and the National
Association for Home
Care & Hospice
(NAHC) by celebrating November as National
Home Care & Hospice
Month.
With 10 thousand Americans turning 65 every day, the need for health care will continue to rise, and costs will continue to skyrocket. This is where home care and hospice come in. As the preferred choice for most patients, it also offers the greatest cost savings. For example, Medicare pays nearly $2,000 per day for a typical hospital stay and $450 per day for a typical nursing home stay. Meanwhile, home care costs less than $100 a day and helps many U.S. seniors remain independent at home, enrich their lives, and keep in touch with those they love. Fore this reason.... We Thank You The Most!
Horizon Home Health lives by the basic values that help you maintain quality of life in the comfort of your own home. We care for individuals of all ages and in all stages of life. We help people after surgery, when illness or health conditions require more assistance, and when curing the disease is no longer a realistic goal. We are a locally owned, family grown company with more than 20 years of experience caring for people at home. We know the importance of family and we are here to treat your family like our own. We hold listening as a core value. Our staff uses the input to respond with compassion and understanding.
